Q&A
272 Strines Road, Marple, SK6 7GB
Going to Bullpot Farm in the Yorkshire Dales from December 30th to January 1st. We'll be back home on New Year's day.
Jen: Coeliac - strictly no gluten/wheat/barley (even traces). Eats all meat and fish. Not a fan of sprouts.
Tim: Vegetarian, eats most things but not keen on meat substitutes.
James: Eats everything including gluten/wheat. Particularly loves clementines, satsumas, halloumi cheese and pasta.
Tim: Alcohol-free beer, particularly the blue-label ones from Aldi/Lidl (Perlenbacher or similar) as he'll likely be on driving duty
Jen: G&T, wine, port, etc.
James: Strictly water or cow's milk only
While we can't accommodate overnight guests in the house right now (James isn't sleeping through yet), we have a few options:
- There's a lovely Airbnb nearby that we highly recommend
- Our living room has a comfortable long sofa for one person
- The van is available (but note: no toilet, likely very cold, and parking isn't directly outside)
We'll provide all the food and snacks - this lets us keep everything wheat-free without any stress.
While it's kind to offer to bring things, the most helpful contribution would be your time and energy! Things like:
- Helping with prep and cleanup
- Washing and drying up
- Baby changing
- Entertaining James
- General baby management
We enjoy catering and we'll make sure we're well supplied with food, snacks, desserts and drinks.
Jen has been described as a constipated alcoholic, and we have an extensive well stocked wine and spirits rack we're keen to make some progress through
